Jewelry Care

Although created with the best materials to ensure high quality and durability, gold plated jewelry will not last forever since it is not made of pure gold. However, if you follow all of the steps below and take care of your items, your Yoanna's jewelry should look pristine for years!
Below are tips that will make your jewelry last as long as possible.
Wearing Yoanna's Jewelry:
1. Avoid contact with soaps, lotions, and perfumes. Remove  jewelry putting on lotions, fragrances and makeup. These products contain chemicals that will remove the shine of your jewelry over time.
2. Unless your jewelry is from our stainless steel and silver 925 collection , avoid swimming in your jewelry and remove it when washing hands, showering. Chlorine can discolor and remove the coating from your jewelry.
3. Remove jewelry before bed. Anklets, Bracelets, and Necklaces tend to get caught in the covers and tugging them off pressure the jewelry to break.
4. Avoid wearing your jewelry while exercising, as sweat can cause gold plated jewelry to tarnish.
5. Make sure your jewelry is the last part of your getting ready process as this will help prevent jewelry from catching on your clothes and from getting mixed with makeup, lotions or perfumes.
Storing Yoanna's Jewelry
Store your jewelry in a cool dry area and in an airtight space such the velvet pouch, vjewelry  box or the bag that comes with every Yoanna's Jewelry order. Keep jewelry away from extreme heat, humidity, and other chemicals in the air.
Cleaning Jewelry:
Clean jewelry with a soft dry cloth made of cotton or fine fibers. Do not use chemical cleaners as they can remove the finish of your jewelry.
